I haven't done much stenciling, but a few days ago I decided to try to make a Lolita themed stencil for a cut-sew I'm trying to make.
I'm so incredibly proud of myself, I wanted to show it off!
I was also wondering if anyone else has done any Lolita themed stenciling? And do you have pictures? I'd love to see some. :3
This is supposed to be Pirate Lolita, but it's not perfect. (Erm, does it even look like Lolita?)

I think it's adorable! Did you screenprint it? If you've never tried before, you should look that technique up, because it works quite well for such detailed designs, and lasts nicely.

I've never tried screenprinting, but it sounds really fun. Is it possible to do it out of your home? :3 It certainly is. It's very much like stenciling, actually. If you do a wikipedia search for it, there's probably some good information and resources, but I know for sure that dharmatrading.com carries the supplies, and a craft store like Micheals probably does, too. Also, you don't have to buy the 'frames' premade, since they're pretty simple to improvise or make yourself. You just need to have some silk organza, which is pretty inexpesive for the small amount you'll use. If you're looking to make several or more copies of your designs on cutsews or t-shirts, then silk-screening them is more efficient than stencilling, but if you plan to only do one of a kinds, it probably doesn't matter what method you use.

It's supposed to be hair, kind of fluttering in the wind?
A couple of people have asked me what it was! I guess I should have left a slight outline to her face. x'D
