I hate when you're sick for a week with no sign of improvement-- so you call for a prescription and they give you... the pack.

What about being sick makes you grumpy?

I'm in the process of recovering from a cold myself, and I hate being unable to breathe through my nose. Then I can't eat without opening my mouth midway through chewing in order to breathe, and that's gross.
Also the fact that my nose is like a leaky faucet when I'm sick, and I can't go 30 seconds without having to dab it dry again...ick, I feel your pain.

A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight... I hate coughing all night and being unable to sleep while worrying that I'm bugging my husband who has to get up for work. Luckily, he says he slept well and I didn't bother him at all. ...and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.

Being NOT sick makes me grumpy, too, because my insurance bill is $1,000 a month!
Mostly the worst thing about being sick is getting to stay home from work but not feeling like doing anything fun.

I'm too much of a self-pushing person to enjoy being sick. When I was a kid I was hunky dory, chicken noodle soup and no school! Myself, even when I relax I like to be productive. Writing, reading the Sandman comics the BF loans me, or piddling around on Gaia for some fun quest.
Though mucus stinks too. I just imagine I'm going to sneeze and someone is going to pop out and say "Oooh, it's the Ooze!!! Ninja Turtles going to appear??" Darn snot, its gross.

I haven't been sick in a bit, but I suspect I will be soon. What makes me grumpy about being sick is that because I'm a student employee with a required number of hours per year, if I'm sick, I either have to go in or pay for not going in by making up my hours later. If I don't finish my number of hours for the year, then I'll end up having to pay back what the job paid in my perquisite. It's depressing. crying Nothing like good ol' indentured servitude.

I think I hate it when I get too much pressure in my head. Can't think right and everything just seems so depressing.

Since I hardly get that sick, it always makes me grumpy. I'm like a slower version of myself. Like, about two months ago, I got really sick outta nowhere. I was bedridden for most of the time. I passed out, coughed up stuff, and ran to the bathroom every sixteen minutes. I couldn't really sleep well, either. It just sucked all around because I'm used to being up and hyper. It scared my bf to see me that sick because I'm usually barking and acting like a nut. I dunno. It just sucks because as a kid, I'd get sick often in the cold months. My gramma prayed to God that I'd get over it as an adult. I wanted to get over it too. I hate taking medicine and having to swallow pills!

i'm not sick very often, aside from constant sinus infections due to my horrible sinuses. but when i am sick, i'm really sick. i try not to let it stop me though. i still go to work, even if they send me home. as of right now, i'm battling a bit of bronchitis.

I don't want to about being sick. If I'm still dealing with some of these issues I'm having I'll be seeing a doctor even without insurance. No I'm not yellow...yet

Just being sick makes me grumpy. I can't taste anything, can't breathe normally, ache all over, hot and cold at the same time, and it gets in the way of daily activities.

Well, what makes me grumpy when I'm sick is the fact I can't go to work and I feel like everyone at work is thinking I'm faking it. confused Another thing that makes me grumpy when I'm sick is being couped up in bed and feeling like I'm dying (I don't know what it's like to die and I do NOT want to know either) because I start thinking morbid thoughts. xd

Other than bad sinuses... I do ok. But the alergies kick my butt. Then recently some cold has made its rounds and it seems to stay for like two weeks. I was miserable. I thought my head was going to explode from the pressure. You know the kind that makes it so you can't lie down and just rest so it will go away. That is what makes me grumpy, the lack of sleep from all the sinus pressure.
