Personally. I don't have a tea time, YET. But I'm planning on starting one. I'm going to have black tea and French lace cookies. Maybe bunt cake too. And I'd wear this dress.

You can buy something better on egl_comm_sales, imo.

Duplica_chan on Livejournal was selling that dress recently on the EGL comm sales for really cheap, actually. Not sure if it sold or not...but. Well. I agree with Amanikitty on this one--you could find something a lot nicer for the money on EGL, especially since Fanplusfriend charges an arm and a leg for shipping.

Well I use to go to my russian friends house A LOT and we always had a tea time which was after lunch but before dinner or sometimes after dinner. And she would take out all these pastries while watching some russian tv, comedy or sometimes even the opera!
The coolest part about their tea is that they have really nice russian tea cups with spealized coasters. Also sometimes they dont use the tea pots, they have this gigantic tea container (looks very victorial to me) and you pull down a lever and the hot tea comes out of it.
Its very beautiful.
Now, i dont visit my friend as often, but when I also lived with my mom, we would just sit on the couch or on her bed and drink tea with coasters and everything. Shed sometimes send me to the bakery to get some goods ha ha ha.
Yeah my mom likes that stuff too. We usually watch movies or tv but sometimes we end up reading a book or crochet (because we dont know how to knit) if there is nothing on tv.
Dresses, we didnt wear dresses, but once my russian friend did have a tea party that was coed (uber fun with twister and everything) it was semi formal and very modern but sweet in a way smile The guys were very charming btw XDDDD

I don't have tea time much, especially since I'm not in England. Occasionally, if I happen to have some cookies or cakes at home, I'd dress up and put the foods on fancy plates. Too bad I don't have tea time with others. I'm usually on my own

Well a tea break is actually still a relatively widespread thing in England. I know this is a while ago, but when my mother lived there in the eighties she took tea in the afternoon.
I just drink tea from a thermos. I take it to school with me. Hardly elegant, but definitely caffeinated.
