I heart American comix. A lot. I'm a Marvel boy at heart. Spidey, Thor, Cap, Hulk, yeah, I love em. SO! Let us talk about comix, yes?

I'm a life long X-Men fan! I was reading Western comics long before I got into manga, so it's just something that has always stayed with me.

Hey, have you checked out the current X-Men event Messiah Complex? Its about how there was no moar mutants being born, until there was a lone mutant baby born. Now like every body is trying to get the kid.

Well, American comix can be a little intimidating to get into, since it's like jumpin in the middle of a soap opera. You'd be totally lost. You would most likely be better of starting off with trade paper backs. Theres on that I really like, called Silver Surfer:Requim. It's just breathtaking, and moving.

Le Prince de Glace ----------- ----------- The only comics I read are Spider-Man comics (so far)! Actually, I just finally got into them. So far, I have but two hardcover editions of Ultimate Spider-Man (#1, #2, has about 13 issues in each). I really hope to collect everything in the series; I wish MarvelMasterworks would hurry up and reprint more of The Amazing Spider-Man into hardcovers! They're going so slow! ---------------------- Prince of Ice

Cheremy LeBeau Has anybody here read the "Heroes" graphic novel? I've been wanting too. I'm a fan of the Runaways series, and a few others. I never got into american comics much, but I do enjoy reading them when I come across them. I tend to like the more obscure ones better.
