 Summary: Lucy a girl of 17 years old arrives at a city hoping to find magical items for herself which leaving the store founds out that many girls are around a man. A man known as Salamander of Fairy Tail, a fire magician well known in the country. Lucy ask him to let her enter the Famous Mage Guild - Fairy Tail which he accepts to do, but someone has to tell her that entering Fairy Tail isnt going to be easy. RATE: Tennager
Its very funny also the action is very good, the story so far is a very mysterious one and the best thing is that women also fight and they develop each time new techniques! Kind of similar to One Piece n.n Highly recommended!

This manga is awesome!
Though sometimes I compare the characters to the ones of Rave Master, another work of the creator.
But nonetheless, I still love it.
I don't have a favorite villain so far. Maybe Leon? Oh, but he's turned good again; so I guess I wouldn't call him a "villain".
My favorite mage is definitely Gray. Who wouldn't love this guy? <33
And Plue! I was laughing so hard when he appeared as the Canis Minor.
But I love all main characters. They're all so fun. ='D
I guess this should be in the siggies thread, but oh well. -sweatdrop-

I like what you did with that image is perfect n.n! Yeah I find this manga the closest one to the style of One Piece. The only bad detail about the manga is that sometimes the author doesnt draw the background , he leaves open white in the background many times. But even so its very good and very funny at all! I like a lot Natsu its like luffy and Gazille both dragon slayers they are awesome in their fight! For the girls ERZA is my luv!! Very nice , brave and...I would have accepted the invitation of getting a bath together with her lol

I also thought FT was done by the person who created One Piece. But when Plue appeared, I was like "Rave!!!" xD

I'v read Fairy Tale as far as it's been released by Del Rey. It is definitely cliche shonen action, but it has everything that I love about that stuff. The art does look pretty close to One Piece, but I still knew it was Mashima when I first saw the cover of volume one. (Maybe I've been reading Rave Master for too many years?)
My favorite character is Natsu, but I'm thinking of cosplaying as Ezra for the next Anime Boston. I already know exactly which wig and boots to buy biggrin

Ah yes...I bought the first book when it came out at....sometime >.> my fav would be Lucy, she's just too cute and funny, especially when she wore the bunny-suit and had to dance for Gazelle. I also like the rainy girl, but I can't remember her name...

Hmm... I think Lluvia's the funniest former-villain, and I'm not sure I like any of the others too much.
Favorite mage so far?
Elfman - he's the most passionate and has a big heart.
What do you think of the story?
It's very cliche shonen, but it's got its nice points, like humor and nice transitioning.
What do you think of Fairy Tail manga, generally speaking?
It's a cute series, with a chocolate box of characters, and Mashima surprises us with nice twists once in a while. :]
By the way, his art resembles Oda-sensei's (One Piece) because he worked as an assistant for Oda-sensei.
