This is a thread for fans of Koari Yuki's incestuous romance, Angel Sanctuary. Known as Tenshi Kinryōku in Japan, this rather twisted shōjo deals with deep issues that have attracted its readers to question several philosophical ideas. Then again, there are readers who enjoy Yuki's manga purely for its dark undertones and explicit violence.

It's more confusing if you take long gaps between reading volumes ^^;;
But once you realise the deeper messages beneath Angel Sanctuary there's no escaping it's appeal.

I have...3 more volumes until I've collected the entire manga series.
I'm so excited. Kaori Yuki's plot twists and charatcers are total love.

What initally attracted me was her art style.

Since I'm lending a friend the entire series (eventualy), I'm going ot reread it.

Lawl, I love how in her art book she was talking about being unsure whether or not to have Rosiel do something, and she said, "And then I remembered, 'Oh ya. He's a freak!.'"

Yuki's sidenotes are so funny sometimes; it's as if she writes them down as she's thinking them.

I have seen what lurks beyond the door of death...

The art style rocks. I love Kira and Kurai. And this is one series that I don't see often that portrays Heaven as a bad thing. THAT is what I initially like about this.

You've gotta love the twistedness of Angel Sanctuary. It may be shocking, but at least it's something different. It's so uninspiring to read unoriginal manga :/

I only have up to the 7th volume at the moment, but the series' storyline is amazing. ^ ^
The artwork is beautiful too which makes the manga all that much greater.

I've really been thinking about getting the art books. *nods*
