((I don't know if this has already been discussed))
Ok...I used to have CFW 3.52 M33-4 to play emulators and stuff like that, well i got tired of them so i decided to go back to original firmware (v3.80).
Then I remembered that I can use remote play now...so i go set it up and all that.
I have my PSP registered to my PS3 (or vice versa, however you say it) on my PSP i can go to remote play and choose the connection PLAYSTATION(R)3 but idk what to do from there...
So does anyone know what I'm doing/did wrong or not doing?

The PS3 itself has to also be in remote play.

Hmm...I think anybody could follow that, and if he had custom firmware on his PSP, then he definitely would know that. I myself was having a problem with getting a "The PS3 this PSP is registered with was not found" for a while. And I myself have custom firmware.
I don't know the exact fix as I changed two things I think would have been a problem. Before I had my PS3, I had changed the Mac address of my PSP with homebrew, I kept that mental note and figured that would probably be a problem. But after changing it back, I didn't test it.
I thought "Maybe ID Storage(numbers that identify what version motherboard the PSP has) could have something to do with it also", so I got a ID storage changer(again, homebrew) which recognized my PSP as the right motherboard, but one of the ID Storage numbers being corrupt. I selected it to fix the key and my IS Storage keys were correct now.(Why it was corrupt? Some of the downgraders would change keys regardless of the type)
So if it wasn't the fact he didn't have his PS3 in remote play...I'd suggest he get a pandora battery(full-proof downgrader) or Datel TOOL battery off ebay and downgrade his psp to fix those things, or mod his battery physically(possibly frying his battery...or worse blowing it up...course I did it and I'm 15. Just need steady hands.) to be a pandora battery to downgrade it and fix those things.
It fixed my problem as I was able to do remote play afterwards.

Ok...i couldn't sleep so i tried some stuff...what i did was instead of going to the connection it made when i registered my PSP/PS3 (which is something like PLAYSTATION(R)3 ) I went to my router connection and it worked smile
The only problem now is that it was kinda slow...is that normal? or is it me?

i think it depends on how much stuff you have your PS3 connected to like i have my comp and my laptop linked up to my PS3, and it takes like 5 minutes before the PSP will react
