Who would win in a fight? A guard with a flagpole or a trombone?

The Color Guard person with a flag. The trombone would just get bent and damaged beyond repair.

the guardie would get boned. (INSIDE JOKE!!! Our trombone section will run up to people, poke them with the slide and say "You've been boned")

Guardie definitely. Hey we have six feet of range and the trombone has about 1-2. Plus we can use out silks tou bound and gag them and THEN beat them with the pole. This is why even our band directors stay out of our way wink

"Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far." --Theodore Roosevelt
You heard it. Straight from the mouth of a leader.
Who would win? Guard. Hands down.

well in my opinion they would both lose under the hand (and sticks) of the random percussionist that jumped in and decided to teach them both a lesson. ...... rofl

Guard. Most definatly. We have a longer range than trombonist and we're more coordinated so if they ran at us they would trip or something (Well, my marching band is like that haha when we stretch we have to stand on one leg and NONE of the band members can do that they lose their balance and the guard just stands there on one leg staring at them saying "wow" lol) And yea, I just love guard more =)
