When you let your religion get in with your ideas of how the story logically happened, things can get iffy. Once I read the full stroy, however, about God being lonley on top of a mountain and became friends with the cat, I understood it a lot better. You'd think that the bond shared with them (and all the rest of the Juunishi) would ---> break when they die. I would think the bond breaks when their God, Akito, loves a certain member however much, as can be seen with Kureno. I know that Akito decides when they'll be free or not, hence why he was so frightened when Kureno didn't transform.

well the zodiac is a part of my religion being a shintoist but really i have to say there missing a charactor in the zodiac and thats the starmaker the one who put them in the heavens at the gods will

i read this one story based a little on the zodiac. it was about a painter who had to make a painting for the church and decided to make his painting about the animals like the ox, tiger, rat, etc. and at the same time his wife brought home a cat who watched the man paint with a sad look almost like he wanted to be in the painting with the other animals. It was a sad story and the ending was pretty good.

i like the story... its not a mater of believing it though. in the series Yuki talks about how he doesn't believe yet he's cured by it. its a cute story that makes you love the zodiac even more. i was raised Christian but i like to believe in the story because its fun
