Here's something to live by and think about.

1."Everybody's crazy the only question is how much"

2."What are you willing to die for,
More importantly
What are you going to live for"

In lamens terms they mean.
1.- Who knows what philosophy is right or who is sane so just live your life to how you believe you should.

2.- Everybody is always "Oh I'll die for this or that." Well I say @*#*$*% to that. I say if you want to show how dedicated you are to something live your life for it. For example many people say that they would die before rejecting there faith but how come they ignore that faith and kill people or they don't live their life for it and share their faith to as maney people as possible.
As I've seen on one show "It's not how these men died that's important it's how they lived there lives"

So what's your opinion on this?
Also what are the theories/ sayings that you live by?

I live by the philosophies to live and let live, and DONT do to others what you wouldnt want done to yourself (my own twist on the golden rule).

and yes, we're all 'crazy' in a way... but what does it mean to be 'normal' anyway since everyone is unique?

I have to agree with those but I'm not sure if I follow any real philosophy except avoid things harmful to my mind in any way, only thing about me that's important really.

I have one thing to say about the crazy/unique/normal thing "You're unique just like everyone else"

this probably doesnt belong in an intelligent conversation, but im saying it anyway. the second part of your statement reminded me of a quote: "you're unique, special, and your own person.... just like everybody else."

I'm working on spreading my ideas at the moment, although I'm not sure if that's enough to say I'd die for them. My major philosophy is "I don't care what you think, I'm going to enjoy myself!" Everyone tries to hide from themselves to fit in. I'm very strange and proud of it.

*I still like Pokemon, even though I'm 16.
*I love to play Yugioh card games.
*I enjoy playing in the snow, rolling down a hill, and doing everything I enjoyed doing when I was small.
*I'm simply not ready to start dating. I'm having too much fun. whee
*I buy my clothes at Wal-Mart. If they fit comfortably, I don't care what they look like.

This is just a few of the things that make me different from everyone else. It's actually really fun to have people staring at you like "What's wrong with you?" Then you can say, "Everything!" whee 3nodding eek

I have wootness. xd ( idea See The Unofficial Dictionary for more information. idea )

Hmmm...

That is something to think about, huh?

1. Who really does know what's right? I guess I'm being a bit hypocritical with this statement seeing as I tend to want to believe I'm always right, but that doesn't mean I don't agree with what it means. Everyone has a right to live their life how they want and no one can really judge what's right or sane or whatever.

2. I've heard something like this before. Yet for some reason, it always reminds me of Dr. Phil. Sorry, I guess that's not really something you need to know, huh? But yea, I totally agree with what it's saying. My teacher used to tell me that it's not the date of your birth or death that matters, but the dash in between (ex: 1972-2034). How you made living worthwhile. Well...something like that... mrgreen

I pretty much live by these quotes:

"A positive attitude may not solve all of your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort." ~Herm Albright 3nodding

"It's better to be hated for who you are then be loved for who you're not."-Van Zant talk2hand

And admittedly, the song "Life's What You Make It" by Hannah Montana. stare

You gotta listen to the lyrics to understand. And plus, it's not THAT bad of a song... sweatdrop

of course it's common for people to always want to believe they are right. but, what is right for one isnt necessarily right for all.

but life is indeed what you make it.

Now that I think about it...you're right!
I guess I was never really that observant and I'm still not... o.o

"What is right for one isnt necessarily right for all."
Yea, I gotta agree with you on that one. Just one of the many things that makes life harder. Then again, it's those factors that also makes life interesting.

Yes! Life's what you make it! I'm glad you agree x]

it's a symptom of the fact that people are different. different opinions, preferences, and attitudes based on their own personal experience, which indeed makes life interesting.
