My computer is still broken, so I'm still going to be semi-absent... I've been borrowing a computer from my dad and using the computer at the library when I can.
My computer... well, I don't know. I have a couple of friends trying to help me out. When I get the parts I need, hopefully I can fix it.

I hate borked computers.... This one is on the last legs. Lucky me I am going to get a laptop (tablet) for christmas/birthday this year.

I keep my install disks nearby at all times for just such an occasion. I have an external drive for data backups so if the main drive fails, I can reformat it without worry. I switched to the Mac side years ago. However, no OS is invulnerable to crashing.
Hardware issues are another story. Hope you get yours fixed and back online soon. Good luck with everything!
