To me, i think that drowning is worse then burning to death. While you are drowning you think about all the things that you haven't done. Also you also get to think like "I'm going to die." While you are burning all you can think about is the pain. Although either way you die, I just want to know someone's opinion on the topic.

*ponders*my personal opinion is that burning is worse since you feel more pain and drowning is just scary but it's more painful to burn if you ask me.

Yeah, I've been burned a little bit and that was pretty bad, now imagine that the flames able to nearly melts steel are all over your body. That is a good reason why to drowning would suck, all you can do is struggle and think, but a good thing about drowning you'd get into a nocturnal state and die before you know it. So I'd rather drown in my personal opinon thanks to me being a pansie.

I dont think one would really have the time to think about anything much less ponder all the things one didnt get done. there'd be no time for that. you'd be too busy panicking that you couldnt take a next breath. that's all you'd be able to think of. then comes the pain in the lungs for want of air just before oblivion. personally, I'd rather die peacefully in my sleep or be the bullseye of something that would kill me instantly.

I'd say drowning, because I hate water. And I can't swim anyway.

i have heard that after a certain amount fo time burning you stop feeling pain because your nerves are simply burnt away. But i have my doubts sweatdrop so I think that burning would be worse, drowning could be quite peaceful

Depending on how hot the flames are the fire could burn your nerve ending off and then you don't feel anything. Drowning is the worse in my opinion because of panic. Panic is a overwhelming feeling. And the fact it's like dying, and your helpless, at least when our burning alive someone could pour water on you and take you to the hospital. Drowning your pretty much screwed

I would definitely say burning is the worst. because you are struggling as your body is hurting to a point that you cant do anything but scream. when you drown. you are afraid, but you are also afraid when you see your body go in flames. i wouldnt want to die by any of these causes but if i had to pick one, it has to be drowning.

Personally, I believe that burning is worse. I've had plenty of dreams of drowning, believe me, and I know what it's like to run out of air. I also know your body forces you to breathe (which is why you drown, not suffocate xd ), but it sounds like a far less painful thing. It's almost like going to sleep, it seems. From what I've heard, anyways. And I'm more of a water person, myself. Burning is just too painful to imagine, I've burned myself on the stove several times before, and my dad uses heated needles to remove splinters. And boiling water is very painful. So as for me, I'd much prefer to drown.

Drowning would be worse because after burning for a few seconds your nerve endings would burn off and you wouldn't feel it anymore anyway.

Either one would be horrible. On the one hand, it would be nice and peaceful to drown, because you'd go unconscious and not ever wake up, but you'd feel helpless and panic until then. On the other, one's body would be in pain and one would suffer from smoke inhillation, but it would be fast enough that you wouldn't have that helpless feeling. I don't really want to take a preference to what one's worse... but if I was to choose... I'd say burning to death would be worse...
