The Kitten in the Box

A cold winter's day, one in which any and all staye din their warm, cozy homes... snow began to fall softly, creating a curious white blanket over the world, as if to momentarily purify the tainted world with its beauty... yet amisdt the cold and beauty that was the first snowfall, there was one who hated it, wanted nothing more than to be in a warm home... a young girl, of seventeen years, with pale white cat's ears, and a bushy, almost foxlike white tail sat in a soggy box, mewing softly... she wore naught but a white, tattered dress, and she peered out at the world with chocolate-brown eyes, with equally brown hair... the girl knew nothing, was truly but a kitten... no one had bothered to teach her to talk, to get along in this world...

A little girl named Sara about 10 years old was walking down the street a little bit lost, she just wanted to go home. She was wearing a big coat that was nearly 3 sizes to big for her little body. She herd a soft meow from around the corner as she turned she saw what she thought was a cat in a box but turned out to be a cat girl! She looked cold and wet so she walked up to her and said "hello, do you have a home to go to?" in her cute innocent voice.

she peeked out of at the girl, rather curious... it was obvious she was human, unlike herself... she tilted her head to the side and mewed, shaking her head slightly... she may not have known how to talk, but unbeknownst to the world, she understood everything...

"Its alright you dont be scared..." Sara thought that she was just to shy to say anything. Sara stepped closer to the box and tried to pet her. "Do you got a name?"

she mewed rather plaintively, shaking her head once more... she had no real memories of her life, and although she felt that shed had a life before the cold nights in the box, she could not remember them, and did not care... she was more focused on the attention she now recieved*

Alex walked down the alley with only rags covering himself and saw a little girl and a cat girl this of course werided him out but he shrugged it off and walked up to them and smile and said "Hi...."

she tilted her head to the side, a smile forming on her face... although it was only two people, it was more attention than she's ever had in her lifetime, and it excited her... she meowed loudly in response, pleased

Alex smiled at the two girl and sat down next to them he then rubbed the cat girls head and asked "Whats your name?" in a gentle tone

she smiled sadly, pressing her head gently further into the palm of his hand, shaking her head... she didn't have a name, and even if she had, she didn't know how to speak, other than to mew

"I guess you dont have a name.....and you cant talk......its okay nobodys perfect" Alex said with a smile on his face
