*shrug* Not really, as Redwall goes all around (or used to) on the Redwallian timeline. But some books must beread after others, and lots of them give spoilers to past stories, even if they are minor, who didn't die and became an old recorder/friar guy.
The ones I can think of at the moment are...
Don't read Mattimeo before Redwall Don't read The Pearls of Lutra before Mattimeo Don't read The Legend of Luke before Mossflower Don't read Bellmaker before Mariel of Redwall Don't read Marlfox or the Taggerung (or any other ones with Cregga in 'em that I'm forgetting) before the Long Patrol
It's best to read them in the order they were published. Saves all this *waves at list* trouble.

Not really. =) You can read them out of order and still understand them, if that's what your asking. As for spoilers, I imagine Firinafel has you covered there. 3nodding

I've read it in published order a few times and I'm going to chronological order. Even though I'm rereading Marlfox again for the six time. Oh well I'll just reread it.

If I read them out of order I tend to get confused and mixed up. It depends on how you see it. *shrug* My head hurts thinking about the order of characters.
