If you haven't done this before, it works like this:

One person writes a haiku. The next person writes another which is connected to the first in some way-- theme, setting, etc. It continues. Awfully simple, ne?

If you don't know the haiku form, it is five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, and another five in the third. They are generally about nature, and attempt to capture all eternity and a single moment at the same time. Difficult to do in seventeen syllables. There is no rhyme.

I'll begin:

The world is glowing
A snowflake lights on a smile
We watch the sun rise.
