So my competition was on Saturday at Lake Hartwell and it was one of the worst performances we've ever done.
We sounded great. We're not worried about that though, but it was the marching.

We marching in in the wrong order because the info our BD was given about the gate entrance was wrong and so we messed up. The line the clarinets marched in was wrong, the flaggettes had to run across the field to get to their position, and everyone didn't make it to their right spot before Parade Rest. With that horrid entrance and being in the wrong place, we had to go to the right pictures even though we didn't start on the right one. So here we are, in the first 16 counts, struggling to get to our first picture without looking like we messed up. Thank God we made it too. However, there was a slight problem. There was a huge, random mud puddle (deep too) on the 40 yard line between the sideline and the front hash. The one place where almost everyone marktimed in. I had to walk on that line on the push for the closer. Nearly fell too.

To sum it all up, it was horrible. We could see our BD on the sideline pointing at people and intervals and screaming "FIX THAT INTERVAL!" during the show. At the end of our performance, our BD was wiping away tears. As we marched out, no one dared look at each other. We were all trying to wipe away our own tears. I'm not gonna bother talking about our colorguard. Our guard really sucks.

However... We got straight 1's. I think only two bands got straight 1's. Yes, even our guard got ones. Last time they've ever gotten a 1 was.. 8, 9 years ago? (our school is only 20 years old)

Yea, just wanted to know if this was remotely possible.
