[Salamandra] Oh I know, I burned my arm on the oven last week while I was taking cookies out of there. Ouch... .::I'm always afraid to take the stuff I bake out of the oven, for that same reason... I always have my mom do it for me. ^^;

My brother likes to stand in the kitchen, talking to me, while I'm cooking or baking, and he always happens to stand in the wrong place, so when I remove hot things from the oven or stove, I have to shoo him away every time. sweatdrop Once, I burnt myself by spilling sauce on my hand, and he was standing between me and the sink, and didn't realize that he was in the way until I yelled at him, because it hurt so much.

Oy! I hate that when someone is standing in the way of the counter when you pull something hot out, and the heat starts to seep through the oven mits and burn your hand. xd

I left pins on the capret once, and one almost went right through my toe : o I'm also sometimes scared of sewing over my finger too, haha.

.:: Ouch-- I did that to my Dad. I was sewing on the couch and left a pin sticking strait up in the air, and when he sat on the couch he jumped back up and screamed... it's funny now but it must have really hurt then o.O

I accidently sat on something I was pinning a while ago, and it really hurt. It didn't mess up the material, though, so that's good!
(It is kind of funny, though. :3)

xd I've done that before when I had it sitting on my chair and didn't see it. I'm also afraid to walk around in my room without shoes, because there must be at least 200 pins just waiting for my bare feet. xd

ooh once I stuck a needle in the pincushion and left the cushion on the floor, then I stepped on it and the wrong end of the needle went all the way through my big toe... there was even still thread on it! so I got to pull it put backwards because it hurt too much to put the fat end through my toe again whee I'm sure you all wanted to know that sweatdrop

I recently was attacked by a spoonrest. Big, heavy ceramic thing. I wasn't really paying attention, and put the bag of spinach down on it in an oddly unbalanced manner. It fell off the counter, surprise, surprise.
. . . .I think my foot might scar. stare

Once I dropped a pack of earrings in the hall out side my door and my dad stepped on them, eight pairs of earrings stuck in the bottom of his foot... sweatdrop

I was making popcorn on the stove (lack of microwave, but it tastes better from the stovetop anyway) and I was shaking the pot around so the heat would distribute evenly, while wearing oven mitts. However, the lid wasn't a perfect match to the pot so when they started popping little jets of piping-hot steam hit the uncovered parts of my arm. Owwie.

I hand sew so I always seem to lose pins and extra needles in my room so my sister 9who shares the room with me) already knows when she sees me sewing to be onthe alert for pins for the next week or so... especially when I stop what I'm doing and look confused because I've somehow lost my needle (black carpet+black thread=difficult to find dropped needle) I don't seem to get injured by them though even though i'm the least careful... I've woken up once because something was scratching my side and looked and found a pin in my bedding. But brother and sister will straight up sit on the pins.
