I thought this would be interesting. Ever gotten sick, then the same thing happens later, and then next year, and the next? Tell us what ails you! Do you know what causes it? What do you do when it comes up again? Tell us.
Note: You are not required to post anything that you do not wish to reveal or that may make you uncomfortable in any way. Also, please don't get to graphic if you must describe the illness in detail, there are some who may be bothered by it. If you simply have to, please post a warning in the beginging of your post.

Not sure it counts but, I have 4 scars, from when I was a kid, but heres the scary thing, each one is for a different injury, each one had me hospitalized and each one happened on the same day every year.

Idiopathic Hypersomnia paired with parasomnia. I refuse to take pills, found a system how to live my life through embracing the sickness, seeing its positive merits and accept it as a part of me. Still day sleepness makes life not easier.

I get recurrent insomnia every summer. I moved from a place way in the south where it never stayed light really late, and it's hard for me to sleep while the sun is out. Not sure that really counts as an illness, though.
