When I look into your eyes, there's nothing there to see. I think abortion's wrong in all cases. The only exception where I think it should be allowed is if there are health risks to the mother or baby. People tend to use it as birth control, and if you're in need for it to be used as such, I think it fairer for it to be a time for someone to grow up, rather than let them fix a mistake to only go on and make new ones.
I don't think teens or rape victims should be allowed to do abortions either. For teens, it's time to grow up in that case. They can't use a child as an excuse to drop out of school. There are child care programs that will pay for child care while the parent is in school and government assistance for if you have to live on your own. I know, cause I've seen my friend use that help at hand and she's grown into a better person cause of it.
Rape Victims should give the baby up for adoption if they can't handle the baby. But two wrongs don't make a right.Nothing but my own mistakes, staring back me.

I know of someone who did that. She was my friend's neighbor. And she had like 5 abortions cause she didn't want to use condoms or any other form of birth control. Why, I don't know. If it was money issues, it woulda been cheaper to pay for the pills than the abortions. When she moved out, she was pregnant with another kid and I heard she aborted that too. =/
And she's a terrible mother. She had one son, and she'd leave him alone at night while she went to hang with her friends outside. He'd be screaming for her inside the house all night. I also heard she blew weed smoke in her son's face to get him to calm down. She left him with my friend once while I was there and he would NOT let me go. He was clinging on for dear life. Who leaves their kid with a complete stranger. D= He was scared!Nothing but my own mistakes, staring back me.

its really sad.. but some people really think that abortion is the answer that they are looking for. all i can say is that its really sad..

I agree that it's wrong that people are using abortion like it's some new birth control pill or something. But I can't help but think it's not fair to the young teenage girls who were raped in some cases and weren't even planning on wanting a kid or two but now their lives are ruined because they are gonna have a baby. 13-20 year olds are still children themselves. I was raised to believe that you're only old enough to have kids when you're married. I only believe you really are a grown up when you reach the age of 21.
16 years old aren't ready for THAT kind of growing up. It takes time. Balancing out school and a job is tough enough and then whatever drama is going down at where they live. A baby just adds more onto their pile of work.
Giving up the baby for adoption is also a good idea if the teen decides to go with the birth. But I really don't think a raped teen girl should have to go through with something she didn't want to happen.
I'm not for or against abortion really. I just wish people would stop abusing it like it was the new birth control pill or condom and that these rape crimes would just stop.

When I look into your eyes, there's nothing there to see. I understand where you're coming from, but I still don't think it's fair to abort a baby. Who's the older one here, the raped girl or unborn baby? D=
Regardless of if she wanted it to happen or not, it did. You can't erase that. You just have to accept what happened and deal with it however best you can. You're right, people under the age of 21 are still rather young to be dealing with a baby. They do have more growing up to do. But it's not impossible for them to. I know from my friend who has a three yr old and is only 18. She's in college and has a very busy life and is very happy and is a good mother to boot. It's just "unfair".
But it's also unfair for the baby who didn't ask for any of that either. Either a girl grows up and accepts what life's dealt her or she gives it up to a family who would really want it. Dx Isn't that what life's about? You're decisions build your character. If a girl's ever to conquer her rape and take charge of her emotions over it, would it be so great to give her one more thing to work on not feeling badly about: a murder? Nothing but my own mistakes, staring back me.

I heard from sources awhile back that if you do it at a certain time in a stage, you can abort it and not be murder.
But like I said that was a while back. It's been forever since I've touched on the debate about abortion.

I think that since we all started out that way, it's just as much human as we are, or at least it's the basis for being human.
They deserve the right to live just as much as you do. >> Animal s can't speak for themselves either, does that mean they don't deserve to live? ninja
