http://youtube.com/watch?v=kpVc_bAWOCoThat's the link. It's kinda exciting, it was only recently put up. It was our last field show at Temecula Valley high school and we got first place! It obviously could have been better but we had a good run through and I think it was as good as it was gonna get for us. They actually failed to tape the amazing part at the very end where in the middle of the field the color guard make a big moon out of their flags and they cut out a lot of interesting visuals for the sake of those lame close ups of random people who don't really do anything.

BAND BATTLE! Just kidding. Comments, and yes, I did watch it. Um, for the most part your lines and diagonals were straight. Ya'll had great marching skills, but not a lot of people. Ya'll have a lot of hold sets and not to much music to hit it off with, but that's cool. Your drumline...has barely any notes...sorry. Your pits pretty good though, and I like their musicallity. I am very strict, and I talk big. http://youtube.com/watch?v=tfbwnhknb-kI talk big, and this is probably why. This was last years show. Watch it. I think it's amazing, and beautiful... I march 4th bass. Sure it's not our best show, but I like it.

Now that I think back to it, our drumline really didn't have that many notes. And we always weren't very good marchers as you can tell by the first set, we can't guide to an arc...
Hopefully it changes this year because our field show for this year has a million arcs and circles. Not to be negative, but this year our drumline is not nearly as good as last year. It wasn't really apparent that they were good in this specific recording, but they were amazing.
I think that your field show is amazing!!! It's pretty complex and your band is HUGE!!! I think that our band is pretty big though, i mean that was our fourth year and we had 200 on the field (including color guard). This year we were supposed to have 250 but so many of the freshman quit before summer even really started around the time of Freshman Camp. They couldn't even deal with that and it was only 5 days of 3 hour rehearsals!!! xd maybe it was better if they did quit...

You make us sound like nazis. 2 weeks of 8 hour band rehersals during the summer, and then an extra week of 6 hour percussion rehersals. Now during school, we work 15hr and 30 min band weeks not including football games, gigs and pep rallies...lol. Plus whatever practices we need to make ourselves better, which amounts to about 1h and 30 a week.

We worked like mad to fix it this week though and it's Much Much better now. I'm glad that wasn't a compitetion though. Y_Y

woot they uploaded our show onto youtube biggrin http://youtube.com/watch?v=A6tUGy98Y1MIt's not the best quality, but this was one of our bests as far as being together and sounding musical and all that. Hope you guys enjoy (: Please tell me what you think if you watch it! (lmao you can hear our director shouting "Yeeeaahh!!" After our big hit in the final tune and after the trumpet trio. I can hear him a couple other times. Mr. Kondrat is the man!) At 3:47 the trumpets play eachother's instruments. I'm not sure if you can tell from this video or not!

I'm looking around, but the only good ones of my band (other than in the media section of www.racerband.com) are here: Drumline cadence two years ago. =D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ioR0iix_DwPerforming 2001 at our competition for HS bands last year I'm in the camera's focus at 00:27: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVO_rEiJeMw(normally, everyone marches that, but for that event, all the brass [except tubas] come out of the stands for the hit)
