The video has a solid use of irony, but simultaneously, points out a lot of trends not too uncommon within the scene. Reminds me a lot of "What is Goth?" by Voltaire- both informational and parodical at the same time.

Reminds me a lot of "What is Goth?" by Voltaire- both informational and parodical at the same time. I was thinking of Voltaire while watching it, too..I haven't actually read that whole book, but it reminded me of "Alchemy Mondays" and "Vampire Club" 3nodding

T'was interesting no doubt, and most of it was true, with random stereotypes and parodies in there. A perfect mix. Thank you much, it will be the talk of my town!

I happen to be extreamly musicly illiterate when it comes to popular music and trends, so the part about the music responses made me laugh. I don't use any of the #'s. I'm usually just blatantly honest that I have no idea what the h**l people are talking about. But that's okay, because no one knows what the h**l I'm talking about when I start rambling about the music I listen too.
