i just realized that the donkey kong stage keeps going up and the pokemon trainer jumps to the back of the level so when the stage moves up will the trainer die?! mabye the game won't let you go there or any stage that moves with the pokemon trainer

They always do. Not sure how. But they will.

The trainer will either be floating on a platform or he'll climb up [to the next area] until the stage stops moving.
