So today we've been gifted two separate updates; a "new" stage and one of Mario's moves. Quote: Pokemon Stadium 2 The previous game, Super Smash Bros. Melee, featured Pokémon Stadium, but it’s been upgraded for this game into Pokémon Stadium 2.
This time around, you’ll see guest Pokémon appearing in the background.
Ordinarily, it’s a fairly orthodox stage when nothing special is happening.
But as time passes, the terrain transforms into four different types: "Electric," "Ground," "Flying," and "Ice."
When it transforms into Ice, things get extremely slippery!
A mountain of earth appears in the middle of the screen for the Ground stage!
On the Flying stage, everyone’s jump abilities get boosted!
For these four transformations, we’ve chosen types that were not present in Melee.
Terrain that changes suddenly makes fights excitingly unpredictable. Quote: Mario: Special Moves
It appears Mario has a new special move! It’s F.L.U.D.D.
He really is carrying F.L.U.D.D. on his back!
Tilt the Control Stick down and press the B Button to charge up...
Hose ‘em down! Blast those enemies away.
It does absolutely no damage—it’s just for sending opponents great distances. You can even charge it up while shielding. It’s best used in critical moments.
Huh? What happened to the down special move he’s had up until now—the Mario Tornado?
He still seems to have this move, though. Eh? Is it a normal attack?! Discuss!

I have reason to believe the following:
1) Since this stage is named "Pokemon Stadium 2", I think Pokemon Stadium:Melee has a very high chance of returning as a past stage. Why name a new stage "2"? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...?
2) Mario Tornado is most likely his new D-Air. I'm wondering if you can still do the PBP.

Oh ho ho! Silent speaks very loudly with his predictions!
And yeah, Tornado is definitely going to be his D-Air.

I would've liked to see a whole new stage for Pokemon. Something different and just not a Stadium. I dont know what but meh.
Its pretty cool to use the Nuzzle. To bad it doesnt do some damage. But I know it will get on some people's nerves if there like going off the edge or something trying to get back and you have water hitting your face.

Talwar126 Oh ho ho! Silent speaks very loudly with his predictions! And yeah, Tornado is definitely going to be his D-Air. That, or the U-air. The D-air makes the most sense. wink xd My predictions have been almost spot on, the few that I've had. I had a feeling Diddy would be in Brawl, but I assumed a Diddy and Dixie combo, a la Ice Climbers, as a throw back to DKC. I think Mario's revamped down+b is gonna change the way he plays. This also leaves open to suggestion, other characters getting new moves. Zelda may be a seperate character now, but Sheik may also still be her down+b transformation. A debate I don't want to start again. We'll just leave it at; Previous moves from melee may not appear the same way in Brawl. However, that previous statement stands for another move of Mario's... What about his Side+B? Will the cape still be around?

I think Mario Down Speacial will be still be F.L.U.D.D and Mario Tornado.
One because in Sunshine you must refill F.L.U.D.D so I think when there is no more water left in F.L.U.D.D it will be replaced with the Mario Tornado.

Spartan number117 YO!!! SNAKE IS GONA BE IN SMASH BROS. BRAWL!!!! stare Wow... Somebody showed up late to the party. ben kei I think Mario Down Speacial will be still be F.L.U.D.D and Mario Tornado. This "could" happen, but at the same time, when the Water pack was out of water, it spat nothing. Same thing happens with a super scope. And who's to say it'll run out of water? But a good contribution, nonetheless.

I was kinda surprised when I saw the update. But more about Mario than the Pokemon Stadium 2.
I really didn't expect Nintendo to mess with their star. But I guess it's a cool change. Although FLUDD seems like he would be a better side b than a down b to me.

yeah, at first, I pictured F.L.U.D.D. to be his Side B, but the Pokemon Stadium 2 is pretty darn cool, especially with the flying type transformation.

So far my favorite update would have to be Diddy-kong.
