Something extra controversial to most Jhonen fans- PAIRINGS.
...
I really don't get why.
Is it because the man himself disproves them? Is it because he's proven time and time again that Love doesn't exist in his universe, only a want for it?

We speak of the internet.
We speak of desperate fangirls.
The fanverse is always changing, always growing, and always tampering.

Mm, yeah, there are fanfics that have NnyxSquee and NnyxEdgar..which is stupid xp I'm not a big fan of guyxguy pairings anyway, but why are some fangirls compelled to pair together two guys just because they like each other?? In the comic, Nny and Edgar are FRIENDS..not boyfriends, Nny doesn't say "Zomgz Edgar I luv youz!!11" It's even odder to have Nny and Squee paired together..Squee is AFRAID of Johnny..they do not have a romantic relationship rolleyes It doesn't seem that Squee even LIKES Johnny that much..meh. It seems that if you look hard enough you could find a guyxguy pairing for about ANYTHING on the net.

XxLoony-Luna-LovegoodxX It seems that if you look hard enough you could find a guyxguy pairing for about ANYTHING on the net. Correction, you can find any kind of pairing for anything on the net. Once upon a time I stumbled a cross an innocent-looking domain labeled Pairings That Require Brain Bleach. (Rather self-explanatory, no?) Although I haven't yet seen any involving JtHM, (And if I did, I probably would need brain bleach) the point still stands. Although...If that sort of thing really bothers people so much, all they really have to do is stay away from fangirls and their creations. It's not like fan pairings get broadcasted on the international news or anything.

Yes, but it's rather annoying when (literally) 75% of all JTHM fics on (for example) fanfiction.net are slash, 8% are NnyxDevi, and 15% are Mary Sues, leaving only 7% of all JTHM fics on the site that are palatable to fans who aren't fond of reading romance fics.
Especially when fics are misleading… I came across a fic for IZ that started out OK, carried no warning labels, but by the end of the fic had graphic descriptions of Dib and Zim raping each other violently. burning_eyes Oh. Dear. God.

Ralthuriel Yes, but it's rather annoying when (literally) 75% of all JTHM fics on (for example) fanfiction.net are slash, 8% are NnyxDevi, and 15% are Mary Sues, leaving only 7% of all JTHM fics on the site that are palatable to fans who aren't fond of reading romance fics.

Why even do any of this pairing at all!??! Are people really that bored??? Can't they do something constructive with their time like read a book or build a treehouse or something, rather than making up these imaginary pairings that don't even exist, and aren't even logical to begin with. I mean, it's pretty sad when people have to make up things about made-up things! The whole thing makes me want to drop-kick nuns honestly. Grr, I'm mad now. evil

God. the ZADR thinggy : OH MY! eek the fan fic thinggy: eh...I kinda like JTHM Romances, I write some romance ones (on DeviantART, I lost my FF.net password and username sweatdrop ) of him and my charater, but she isn't a mary-sue she has 'Krys Moments' ( times where she's dumber thing a fricking post) and I think the fact that she's dumb sometimes and always dies violently, painfully and in a situation where you wouln't want to die in all my fics doesn't make her a mary-sue (killed once by suicide once by Nny he's all like 'I loved you' -stab stab stab gets rid of corpse-) but my problem is; I can't put Nny in charater to save my life T__T he sure is a hard charater to play/write/act as, I'm very proud of whoever can and is good at it! 3nodding
