Has anyone here read any Anne McCaffrey books? The Harper Hall Trilogy in particular...and if anyone has what did you think of it?

I love the Harper Hall Trilogy! And a lot of other books in that canon actually. The MasterHarper of Pern, The White Dragon, All The Weyrs of Pern, and The Skies of Pern in paticular. Have you read them?

haha, she has written like a trillion. I'm just going for Pern books right now, focusing mainly on dragonriders/important personages like MasterHarper Robinton(The MasterHarper of PErn is one of THE best books EVER) and Menolly and Lessa. And she has a couple books about whebn settlers arrived on Pern and Moreta.

You need to find her book, Get off the Unicorn then. It has a bunch of short stories in it, including one about a boy named Keevan trying to Impress a dragon. Also, I think you would like her book series about the B & B ships. Start off with The Ship Who Sang. And you might like The Rowan series. The last two series that I mentioned are more sciency than the Dragonriders, but they are still awesome!

How in the world does she find the time to write so many of these books! lol It's just amazing. biggrin
I've only read her Pern novels, but they were amazing. biggrin I should revisit them since I'm running out of interesting material to read. I've started picking up random novels from the dollar store just to find something different! lol Surprisingly enough, they've all been pretty decent.. or maybe I'm just that desperate. stressed

I don't know how she manages to find the time, but she does thank goodness! if you are running out of stuff, go to a used bookstore or a thrift store. they usually have really good hidden treasures and also read some of her space books, they are really good too!

I actually want to read And No One Noticed the Cat because every time I go to the book store it is sitting there, mocking me for not reading it and I'm going crazy because of it!
