Score! A place for my insanity!
My current theory: The monster is an aardvark in a fur coat (who recites Shakespeare) who is filling in for the Grim Reaper, since he couldn't book a ticket on the plane, being an anthropomorphic personification. He's been missing because of a problem with the Shipwrecked Union, which consists of the monster, Boone, Claire, and Gilligan. It was one of these, though probably not Boone, since he had badly delegated his part of the triangulation plan and as such, isn't bright enough to think of rescue, who had beamed poor Sayid with a 2x4. Though, perhaps he just thought Sayid wanted cable. Or maybe everyone is just a figment of Charlie's drug-induced mind. But I believe that involves having a mind to begin with.
Now to remember what the rest of my "theory" was...

well, i don't really have a weird and crazy theory but this is my theory on those whispering creatures in the jungle. i don't know exactly what they are, but i have an idea that...
they're creatures that have a weird disease. basically, they used to be human but the disease got to them and changed them. that's why Danielle was all saying how her crew members were changed and went crazy. and about the polar bear, it was in one of the ships or planes that have crashed on the island in the past. the bear has been living there since then. and about the big monster, i'm still thinking that it's some dinosaur or prehistoric monster.
and i also have a theory, that if they try to leave the island they'll just come back straight to it. like say that they left the island on a boat. well, they would be going and going then all of a sudden they would see the same island in the distance. basically, trying to go somewhere and ending up right where you started. i'm thinking that they're like in some weird bermuda triangle area. i know that the bermuda triangle is near Florida but there has been known that other parts of the earth show the same characteristics as that same triangle near Florida. dum, dum, dum!

Danielle, as we can all agree, is little off her rocker. I think that the sickness was psychological, although whether she killed them because they were all sick or she killed them because she's the sick one is a mystery to me. The subject of cannibalism came up in a conversation I had with a friend, but food seems pretty plentiful on the island, not to mention that they haven't fully explored it yet.

Very articulate as well heart Yay, I feel loved! blaugh I think why the others were killed depends on when Danielle killed them... if it was right when they got to the island, then they might have been sick, but if it happened later, it could have been because Danielle had gone insane. Does that make sense? sweatdrop

My guess is that one of the members of her party became infected with the disease, and then proceeded to infect the rest of them (Danielle included). The others began to show symptoms, at which point Danielle began killing them, claiming that they would infect her (when she infact was already infected). Whatever the infection is/was, I think it made her a little loopy.

Maybe a little bit of both? I mean, I would go crazy being on the island for 16 years, with or without a disease. But I still think that she has the disease. It's possible that she was the only one with the disease, and that made her initially crazy, and that's why she killed everyone. 3nodding

celestial_aurora and about the big monster, i'm still thinking that it's some dinosaur or prehistoric monster. Dinosaur? Geez... that damned Michael Crichton... it's all his fault that people think it's a dinosaur. I bet the show's trying to be more creative than that... hopefully... sweatdrop
