::Beats you in the face with a Wobbuffet::

We already have three NEW Pokemon in the roster, one guaranteed returning Pokemon, and the possibility of two others returning. Isn't that enough for you?! Half the gorram character list shouldn't consist of Pokemon just because they're "cool" or "powerful."

::Sets down the Wobbuffet::

As for him being a Pokeball character, sure... I guess that would be possible.

Well, the pokemon trainer is one character, so, it's not really three new Pokemon. And The only reason that Lucario would make a good character is becuase it is a fighting type.

And Zelda and Sheik only counted as one space and yet they have two separate move lists, two separate tier positions, and walkthroughs dedicated to their insanely different playstyles.

You also don't play with the Pokemon Trainer, ever, so he really isn't anything more than a walking cage for the three Pokemon you'll be fighting with.

Yes, but the three seperate pokemon have to switched out so it's really like they're only one character, in my opinion.
Zelda and Sheik didn't have two spaces. >.>

I meant "one space" and the rest of my point still stands. There is no difference between "swapping out" and "transforming." The separation only occurs in the animation.

There isn't three new pokemon in the roster, there is one new character that you use to play the three Pokemon.

I don't think he should be a character. But I think He WOULD be pretty cool as a pokeball pokemon. Besides, I think he might have a higher chance of being in the pokeball than being a fighter.

You're taking it literal. It doesn't matter if there is just one character on the "roster" since you play with three. You don't even play as the Trainer in the first place. They added three playable Pokemon to the game and you don't need any more.

Adding more Pokemon would be like adding Dixie Kong or Donkey Kong Jr. just to round out the classic Donkey Kong roster. Just because we have a lot of characters that we can use it doesn't mean that there are a lot of characters that we should use. I don't want to see Brawl filled with playable Pokemon just because there are plenty of other Nintendo games that could be used to add variety. We have Pokeballs for Pokemon, we don't need to clog up any more playable space that could be given to other characters.

Am I not supposed to take literal? The Pokemon have stamina, unlike Sheik/Zelda, so you need to switch them. I don't want to see any more Pokemon in Brawl either. : |

I personally think Pokemon Trainer was a poor choice to add in because you can't play as your favorite Pokemon for however long you like. It's almost like playing one character, but for too short of a time.

You're taking it literal in the sense that you consider Zelda/Sheik as one character because they share one slot. In almost every other sense, though, they are two characters that share one move and a health bar. The same will be said of the Pokemon. The main difference is that, yes, they will have an invisible "stamina" stat that will deteriorate the longer you have one character out. It is still left to be seen out quickly that stat deteriorates but I'm sure you won't really have to use more than two of the three during a fight.

I agree with Zelda/Sheik, they are two characters, but the Pokemon, in my opinion, are more like one becuase you have to switch them.

The only good thing Lucario would be good for is his fighting style. Thats it. It'd be pretty cool to have him in and since he's a fourth gen or whatever. But I dont know. Maybe come out of the pokeball and do Auro Sphere or something.

This is what I think lucario's moves shoul b(B.aura sphere) (B/ like high jump kick like B/ once to do high jump and B again for the kick) (B> metal claw) (B/ stone edge) (A moves is just punches and kicks) I tried just ask if you like it.
