what are your thoughts on it?
currently i am witnessing it happen in someones journal. and i am disgusted.
a Gaian is leaving because of what others have said about them. and of course to the bully's it looks like their comments should not cause such an action to take place.
people just dont get how much power their words can be for some, and to other it can be brushed off and laughable.
there is the "ignore" button. but if the bully is so persistent as to have mule after mule after the person. that could be enough to drive someone into depression.
it sucks when someone basically screws with your hobby to a point were you dont even want to do it anymore.

I agree with lilraine. You're going to find bullies every where you go. Doesn't matter if you're online or out in the real world. The only difference is that in the real world you have the capacity to knee the guy in the nuts, kick him in the face, and tell him to go ******** himself. Online it's rather hard to throw a punch (not that I'm promoting violence). It sucks, it makes me angry that people can be such twats, and it should be stopped. But how often does anything that should be happening actually happen? It's the basic principle of life, you get the good and you get the s**t. The best you can do is have a good laugh at the bullies apparant lack of intelligence and let the remarks roll off your back. Words are often cruel, but it's important to remember that other people's words do not in any way define who you are, only you can do that. I had a terrible time with bullies when I was growing up, but there comes a point when you just realize that life is to short to worry about a bunch of brainless little shits that have so little creativity that they only come up with being a d**k as a good way to pass their time. And assholes always get what's coming to them, maybe not when we want them to but they do. Besides, you're whole life you have to deal with narrow minded morons who enjoy giving someone a hard time. You just have to remember you're better than them. It'll get better, bullies have the attention span of gnats given their lower IQ's. I find that now I actually pity most of the idiots that gave me such a hard time growing up. Although, I do agree that hindsite is 20/20, and it was much more wolrd shattering for me when I was growing up and it was actually happening. I'm sorry that things like this happen to people. It sucks that world is so seldom fair.

I hate to say it, but it's true. kids can be the meanest when it comes to hurting anothers feelings. especially another kid. I guess it's safer that way in real life. that's whether they're bullies or not. online, it puts everyone on an even keel so they sass, act tough, and pick at anyone regardless of age. again, I guess because they feel safer. protected behind the monitor.

Net bullies have no life of their own. They either have to compensate a small problem or they have a father complex!
Just give a f about them, report them or learn to hack!

Well, anyone can bully someone at any given time. We all have our off days were we simply are mad or sad and we just don't want to read something that was typed and may just lash out. I've been there and I am normally a nice person but when it gets to someones nerves you know, you can't help it.

If your talking about constant bullying than it may just be how the child has grown up.

I find it fun watching these people run around skwabling around like their something, comming up with the same one liners like their funny. Gah just reading these same things over and over again never gets old. I don't know about you but I love cyber bulling, it always gives me a good laugh, since I'm pretty passive, hey I even got death threats, I replied told them to come over here, three weeks later the postman came by and thats all. Now I don't like those whiny kids complaining "I was a victim *sob sob* of a cyber bully, and I'll never be the same *even more sobbing.* Stuff like that brings my urine to a boil, I can't stand those people that get knocked down, and think it's the end of their little world. Bulling keeps me entertained, yet those little punks that constantly click, click, click, and get a news story for something as redundent as that.
