Hiya all!
I'm not talking about the film 'Prince of Egypt', infact I have a question.
My novel is going well, because of having to research alot I have learned so much! Though there is one thing that bugs me, what do princes do? The only thing that I can think of is that they are given a job by Pharaoh, like Tuthmosis III controlled the army and Rameses II's son controlled the stables I think ...
If you know what they did they please tell me xd of if you know any websites with information about Egyptian princes then I will be so happy.
Also if you know anything about everyday life for commoners that would be great too.

Most princes in the Old Kingdom had high posts in the bureaucratical system. They were overseers of cerntain activities or served in the army. In the New Kingdom they had a military training, but some of them had high posts in the temples. I think that they ended up either in the army or in a temple.
