I recently joined the Navy, which means that I'll be living in Atlantia for at least a year...
Anyone else here in the military or know a SCAdian who is?

I know several. They are all in the Tennessee National Guard.
When you get on base watch for notes, ask around and check out the park.

"Floating Barony" and "Stronghold" are terms I have also heard. Hopefully I can created a stronghold for the West when I'm stationed on my own carrier.

My boyfriend is a reservist and relatively new to the SCA. Huh, never thought to ask him if there was any further interest to be drummed up at Ft. McCoy, but why not?
Speaking of interesting shires, I once found a web site for a SCAdian group located at the Antarctic Research Station. Awesome!
