A place to discuss Gaia's upcoming design changes... before and after they happen.
So far I'm extremely hesitant! From the screencap, it looks a little over-cluttered to me.. a little too MySpace, perhaps? I donno, we'll have to wait and see!
I'll probably hate it at first, but I might come around.

I for one am a big thumbs up for the change. I like how the mods understand that while the community was created to be "kid friendly" that there are a lot of 21+ people like us out there that hang out on it too. The change definately seems more geared to the older crowd, and as long as they keep thinking about us when they give the site a makeover, I'm not complaining. Yay for change!

3nodding I agree with Dafthank; it doesn't look as "kiddish" as it does now. Also, I like how they put some of the town look back into it like the background on the header shows buildings and other things that make it look more like you're in a town. That was sorta why I stayed around so long because Gaia's like a small (well now I guess large) village and we all work, live, and play together (as much as some of us don't like the other groups like the "noobies" and yes I spelt that way on purpose). I also like how there will be pull down menus, becuase I have more room to pull down with my mouse than over at the moment and plus it looks more organized to me.

I didn't love it when they changed to the look we have now, and I suppose it has grown on me. I'm excited about the change.
The only thing I'm a bit sad about is the logo. It seems a shame to change that....

you know...despite the logo change, overall I like the new look...the shortcuts are awsome and I really like how the time of day changes on the bar so it corresponds to when day and night is in towns...so now I know when I can go catch fireflies xd

I must say I like the shortcut to my guilds / subscribed threads. I thought it was so annoying before to have to click through so many windows.
