Found a couple of links I thought you all might be interested in:

More Potter To Come (but not too soon): http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/19935372/

Info about Extended Epilogue:
http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/19959323/

Thanks! I had seen the first link, but I hadn't seen the second. I'm excited now, because JK can answer all of our questions, and oi, there are SOO many questions. =)

And as an aside, what were some of your favorite quotes from Deathly Hallows? I can't quote directly, but it has something to do with "Your Holiness" (meaning George of course) and the Lee Jordan "Potterwatch" show... rofl

I don't know about specific quotes, but the fangirl in me is embarrassed to admit I think my favorite part was the Snape flashback xD

But I was also very fond of the Potterwatch bit as well. And the final battle (minus the Fred dying part crying ) was very fun, I especially liked the herd of desks.

I think that the quote from the book that made my day was this one...Fred's take on Voldemort's absence from the scene on Potterwatch..."Point is, people, don't get lulled into a false sense of security, thinking he's out of the country...Maybe he is, maybe he isn't, but the fact remains he can move faster than Severus Snape confronted with shampoo... xd ..oh yeah best quote ever...Fred was brilliant!

There were so many great quotes, but a few just had me shaking my head.

Ooh, you look much tastier than Crabbe and Goyle, Harry.

Imagine, losing fingernails Harry. That really puts our suffering into perspective doesn't it?

Cinderella? What's that, an illness?

I loved all the ones posted so far as well as the part when Hermione was disguising Ron, turns to Harry and asks how he looks.

I love how Harry was all "Not my type." lol

The "worst" bit was that brat Draco didn't get it. I would have loved to see him blown to bits. As for Ron and Hermione, Harry and Ginny, those were obviously going to be long-lasting items. Neville and Luna? Who knows, maybe it's in the works for a "sequel" of sorts, if Ms. Rowling picks up "19 years later" which is the most obvious lead in for a new series if there ever was one. (The Potter Kids and the Return of the Death Eaters" or something. After all anything is possible Muggles worship someone who died 2000 years ago, why cant death eaters? (not meant to start any sidebars on religion, just thinking aloud!)

Well, I would point out that they do celebrate Christmas at Hogwarts sweatdrop

But in her post-release interview, JK already debunked that Neville ended up with Luna.

I'm very happy about the whole Neville x Luna pairing...it seems random but somehow fits. I think that their many children will end up being very nature-friendly! xd

It's so great to finally be able to read this topic!! I didn't want to read the new book until I had reread all of the last ones (somewhat of a tradition for me) and I have finally finished them all!

I was thoroughly impressed! Once I started on the Deathly Hallows, I couldn't stop!! It was so gripping the whole way through! I don't know how she managed to maintain that kind of momentum!

Yeah I said earlier in the thread that I couldn't understand how people could say "the book drags in places" when it seemed to move at such a breakneck pace!
Glad you finally got to read it, and glad you enjoyed it as much as the rest of us! mrgreen

I totally agree! I thought it moved too fast from the very start! When I read it, I felt I was on a runaway horse... hehe I'm glad you liked it, Doressa. biggrin
