So anyway, I'm probably going to cosplay as Johnny later this year at a con...but how exactly do I do his shoes?? He's got these wierd hoof thingies on his boots. I can buy a pair of boots, but how could I make the hoof thingies so they aren't annoying and in the way??

Personally, if I were to do it, i'd get a pair of knee-high black leather boots with buckles and then use a seam ripper to open up the toe seam. I would go to a hardware store and buy either a small sheet of galvanized steel, or heavy duty aluminum sheeting, take it home, and using metal cutting shears, a wooden board and a hammer (the last two are for bending back the edges so they don't hurt you or catch on things) bend the metal into the proper cloven toe shape, making sure to leave a flat tongue of metal. Then slide the metal tongue into the boot where you opened the seam, and (after inserting a sturdy shoe tree-one of those metal/wooden thingies that you use to help shoes keep their shape) punch holes and use rivets to secure the metal to the boot.
Either that, or there were some Nny-style boots around at one time, back when JTHM first gained popularity.
Oh, and those boots that "KICK a**"? I have a better pair. They're knee high, lace up, have about 20 screws inserted into the rubber sole, and have four sections that can zip off into a smaller boot, using humongous metal zippers. Freakin' awesome.

Oh, an when it comes to paying for things I have only to say this:
"What? That's HAM! You can't pay for cookies with ham!"
"Why was there ham in my pocket?" xd
