Angel With Sad Eyes

Often we are judged too quickly
And people say they know you
They focus only on your image
And on every wrong that you may do

There's an angel in my life
Who is so misunderstood
The people around dont trust her
And she cry's beneath the moon

I cant bear to see her face
As she looks at me and cries
Although she is an angel
She's an angel with sad eyes

Maybe "They" are right
And she's been figured out
But to me she's still an angel
Who often has to shout

Too often she is lonely
And she shouts out to the skies
"Why must i be this way?"
An angel with sad eyes

This is a poem i wrote that was inspired by my older cousin sam. Her mom doesnt really love her,and rarely pays attention to her. she was kicked out of her house with nowhere to go because noone wanted her with them. she lived witha close friend until he got annoyed by her as well. her younger sisters look down upon her, and when she requested to come back home, her mother said she'd have to sleep on the livingroom floor. if she doesnt have money to pay for her own food, she doesnt eat because her mother wont provide her with food because legally she is an adult (18 )
i just cant bear it when she tells me all of this. i cant believe my aunt would do this to her daughter. i talk to her a lot and i want her to stay with my family but my mom doesnt want her here. says she'll be a burden. right now she is in limbo between her moms and a friend, but they already told her to look for aome place new to live.
