But no, as for the topic of this post.

I'm a very paranoid person ( 3nodding see? Told ya ^_^), and am usually left home alone in my house, which is in Baltimore (The 3rd highest murder rate in the country (United States)). So quite a few times, I, in my lovely spazzy-ness, have suspected somebody inside or outside of my home (Mmm. There's a face print of somebody peering in through our glass door, and it's none of us because everybody else is too tall for it, and I too small. Also, none of our lips are that thick, nor our noses and the bridge of our noses that thick. There's also a hand print, titled on the side, like when you cup the side of your face almost to get a better look of something. ninja See why I'm paranoid?).

Being my odd self, I always go and try to 'check' it out. But I do it with a fun little twist whee I pretend I'm Anita. Or something to that extent. Depending where I am at the house, I'll take on various positions that she's had through out the series.

Anybody else done anything like this, or mocked a character in one of the books during something?

Note: xd I know I'm odd. Don't just post saying I'm odd. At least say no and then tell me I'm odd.

Another Note: I honestly cannot remember if I've posted this before. I went back and checked, and I didn't see it (I checked twice) but then again things are still slightly dizzy, so I'm not too sure. If it is something I've already posted, Nia please delete it ^_^

I don't know if this counts... But I recommended the Anita Blake books (and the Merry Gentry books) to the gf and now she's making me grow my hair out.

If you missed the connection; Anita likes long hair on her guys, that's why Jean Claude grew his out.

That and the fact that nearly every guy in the Anita (and Gentry) books has long hair... The gf liked the descriptions *cough*.

*wonders where she's heard the gf situation before*

Oh yeah... me XD Every guy I go out with either has long hair... or is convinced that they're growing it out lol whee sweatdrop heart

I tried it with my ex and he said no gonk But then I pushed the pink eyeshadow and he got mad O.o;;;

u_u; Apparently football players aren't manly if they've got long hair and eyeshadow on.

I've never pretended to be Anita, but I've notced I sometimes think like her. One other thing is she's made me take caution when it comes to opening doors. I too am a paranoid person and thinking about someone blowing my head off when I opened a door has crossed my mind (I'm also a pessimist with a wild imagination), so now when it comes to time to walk through unfamiliar terriotory I find myself thinking about going low out of gun range XD

As for guys with long hair.. Yes! Those I have met I've found adorable. It never seems to hurt a guy. Well, maybe the process of actually growing it out can be frustrating and odd as it's happening, but once you got some length going girls won't be able to resist wanting to play in it.

My friend (Laurella) and I like to think that we are each aspects of Anita Blake. My friend serves as the tough, kick-a**, I don't need love sort of Anita. I'm the stunt double who steps in whenever feelings and emotions take over. XD
