The answer to the poll is vegetation. Asar, before he was killed by his brother Seth and made Surpreme Ruller of the Underworld, was a peaceful God of Vegetation.

The story goes that Seth was jealous of his brother Asar and wanted him dead after Asar married their sister, Isis(Aset). Seth killed Asar and placed the body in a coffin which he sent in to the Nile. The coffin got lodged in a sacred tree and was found by a villager of the town guarding the tree. The villager told a servant of Isis who had been sent to look for the coffin who then relayed the message to Isis herself. Isis posed as a nurse for the Queen of the village and looked after her baby. Isis grew attached to the child while she was staking out a time to rescue her husband/brother's body. She began to change the child into an immortal but was found out by the queen. The queen banished Isis not knowing who she was and gave the tree to Isis when she revealed herself. Upon finding her husband's body she attempted to take but was stopped by Seth who had been looking for Isis. He took the body and cut it into 14 pieces which he scattered. Isis spent a year finding the parts of Asar only to find 13 pieces. The body was drug into a swamp and reassembled and the last part, his reproductive item(s), were carved from an oblisk. After assembling Asar, Isis transformed into a hawk and brought him back to life long enough to conceive Horus, their son.
