Jen the Quiet Much though I like Martin/Rose, I think it might be for the best that she dies. If nothing else, just to shake up the Redwall universe and have a romance or two that doesn't [don't?] end happily. uh, yeah im confused about that too, is it don't or is it doesn't? i think its doesn't but... i dont really know...

But if you go by the meaning of your sentence, I kinda want to go with "doesn't" because even though you threw in the "or two," you're really just referring to the one romance involving Martin and Rose--in the interests of less confusion, I would have left out the "or two" altogether and just used "doesn't." Also, if we're going all grammatical, your second sentence is a fragment. Combine both sentences to form one and write "for no other reason than to shake up..."

It's just that moles, shrews, voles, and hedgehogs are the only common "good" species that haven't gotten thier paws on Martin's sword. Moles are typically seen as peaceful, so it would be different and exciting.

It is interesting how in most animal story's the foxes, stoats, martins, and weasels are the bad guys and the otters, mice, moles etc are the goodguys...

Firinafel It's just that moles, shrews, voles, and hedgehogs are the only common "good" species that haven't gotten thier paws on Martin's sword. Moles are typically seen as peaceful, so it would be different and exciting. That's true; that would be pretty interesting to see.

-Dee Racoon- What if they met Sonic from Sonic the hedgehog? (I know that sounds lame, but if they did, it would be extremely amusing, trust me >:3) I've thought about what it would be like if Sonic the Hedgehog became a cellarhog at Redwall.

What if a series of movies are made based off the books like what was done for Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Chronicles of Narnia? ((A dream project I would love to do some day xd ))
What if the sword of Martin was a lightsaber instead of metal sword? ((Sorry the Star Wars geek in me made me do it sweatdrop ))

What if Redwall learned about space and time? ( biggrin Think of the possibilities!)
What if Redwallers went into mechanics and the industry era?
What if Redwallers really existed as little animals. ( 3nodding I wish it would really happen.)
What if moles adapted to a wet enviroment?
What if Redwallers over-populate?
What if Redwall had too many hares? ( neutral )
What if there was another place like Redwall Abbey in their world?
What if there were two Martin's?
The list goes on...
