I'm traveling to London next week! 4laugh
(i'm leaving sweden for the first time in my life blaugh )

I’m intending to visit the British museum while I'm there. Is it someone here who has been there and can tell me what I should see? Of course I’m most interested in the Egyptian objects. mrgreen

Gosh, you'll be quite close to me!

Tell what it's like and one weekend when I get a day off I'll have to take a look xd

Hope you have a great holiday in my great country!

So, I got home safe. To bad my computer was broken, so I had to wait more them a week until it was fixed.

Anyway, I went to the British museum the day before we were suppose to go home, but unfortunately me and my family got there about one hour before they were going to close! I wish we could get there earlier so that we could have more time to take a closer look at everything.
We decided to just watch the Egypt section, but we got lost on our way there and it took 15 minutes until we got to the right spot. (Pretty big place...)

I had no idea that they hade so many things from Egypt! eek At least I think it was pretty much. I tried to take as many pictures I could but the light from my camera + the glass between me and the object messed up the picture and it didn't look as good as in the reality. mad
I was busy with looking at everything that I didn't take time to read anything about them. Well, I read at least about Bast, but there where a big group of Asiatic people standing in the way and I didn't dare ask them to move. When they finally left, my mom and dad said that I should find my little sister so that we could start go to the exit... stare

London was a very noisy city, but all the people I met were very nice and polite. I saw some homeless people near the parks and felt sorry for them... Hyde Park was beautiful and it was nice to get rid of all the traffic for a minute. It was scary to take the buss, it drove so fast. And on the wrong side of the road... rolleyes

Anyone who saw a girl with glasses, long brown hair and a green/grey hat in London between 17th-22 may would have seen me. mrgreen If you saw a girl with long brown hair and a ugly brown cap, that would've been my sister. smile
Next time, I think I will pay a visit to Scotland. It seems like a very nice place. mrgreen

I'm so sorry to hear that you didn't get the time to see the artifacts in the British Museum, you must come back next time xd

Alot of us Britons are nice people, we like to help our tourists. With the homeless people, there are lot in London which is very unfortunate.

I must go to Scotland when you do, part of my hertige is there and I would love to visit the place xd
