So what are your opinions on this series? I just bought the first one to hold me over till the new Redwall book comes out,but it's a tad too short for me.My friend just brushed across and thought it completely copied Redwall.I'm going to give it a try.Who knows? It might be good. (And a squirrel wields a rapier,so it's like Guosim, except it stands for Guerilla Union Of Squirrels In Mossflower!)

I read (and loved) both of them about a year ago. Honestly? I like them better than Redwall.
1. Not as much racism (the one turnoff of Redwall) 2. Less cut n' paste good guys, a bit of intuige and mystery 3. Dare I say it, a different plot in the second book O.o
Yeah, it is a bit similar, but on the whole, I love them both.

Well,I read The Mistmantle Chronicles, and it has something in common with Redwall.I always want to strangle one of the characters.

The one bad thing about it is that I can easily understand the dialect. I want my mole speak back!

I believe what really makes the dialects in Redwall so good is that no one else puts good animal dialects in thier books, its sort of a one of a kind Redwall thing.

It's so similar to Redwall, it kinda gets on my nerves...Redwall is better, but the only similar thing about the two series are probably that animals talk. The character personalities seem different.
