Every year my town has an Armed Forces Day parade, with four high school bands and a few middle school bands. After this year, however, the parade moderators decided to cut all school bands except one high school band and rotate the four high schools. It's not a long parade, so all that's left will be: people in cars whom no one really knows (or, in the case of most people I know, cares about) army tanks and troops, and the single high school band. Has this happened to you? And what can my band do to try to get back in the parade?

well, if it where us, our BD would make a bunch of calls or write a letter. this is what i would suggest your BD do. It also helps to get the other rival school bands to write letters, being totaly into the cause. That's just my oppinion 'tho.
