My friend and I were the only constant members in the section. One guy who quit in grade 6 actually came back in grade 8. We kind of wish he hadn't, though...

i always say that i'm quiting, cuz people make me mad, but i don't think that i ever will...but i do hate quitters, they are stupid and they can't commit...

I keep reading all of these posts and it makes me think back on why i quit band. I've been an official musician for 8 years but unofficially all my life.
Music is something that runs in my blood and forever will .... but as I got older I came to realize that there are only so many hours in a day and not enough time to do all that i want. I play the tuba and vibs very well and to make matters worse i'm a girl.
The real reason I quit was because I kept getting sick so I quit. I'm sorry if this seems lame or fake but it's all real.

last year 4 percussionist quit!!!!!! now one more is leaving and were only going to have three!!!!!
i already have to play 4 instruments one song and three on another song!!!! evil
