We only play for football, and even then barely anyone pays attention. Once the cheerleaders get off the field (which they take their own sweet time doing) and we go on, it's like the signal for everyone to go buy refreshments or call their parents or make out under the stands. sad Nobody cares about our band. emo

i want to play for basketball games next year
everyone loves us, we're just that cool!
our football team was awsome my freshmen yr, but now they kind of suck

We play for basketball and Football. Unfortunatly, both those teams SUCK at our school. As for getting ignored, we can't be ignored. Our band has 175 members. we take up an entire section in the bleachers. At pep assemblies, we're almost the same size as the freshman class.
There is aome animosity between us and the cheerleaders, though. When they dance, we face the other direction.

Well, considering we take home more prizes than all of our sports teams combined...
People sit up and pay attention to us.
Sometimes we have to fight with the cheerleaders and such...
But our teams suck anyway, so what's the point?
Y'know?
I'm only in it for the music, I swear!
And...the free food the pep band gets sometimes! domokun
