I didn't.
Because I don't feel the need to call myself 'goth' and find it rather annoying when people do. I've been a rather dark little monkey ever since I was all short and such, but honestly, I'm much too open-minded, musically, personally, and in what I wear and do with my time to call myself a goth.

i dont thik ther is any one way or term you can use to define "goth". goth is not simply a life style, or a style of dress, a genere of music, or a personality type. its all of them put to gether in no particular order. defining yourself as "goth" has to do wit how you see your self. you dont have to wear black all the time, you dont have to listen to "goth" music, or live a particular way to be "goth". generaly, "goths" as a whole enjoy the darker side of life. but there is no set of guidelines that says this person is "goth" and this person is not. it has to d woth your life and the way you see it.

I'm really not Goth. I listen to Goth-Rock, and I sometimes dress in black, but I also listen to other music and wear other clothes. Yes, I like poetry and stuff, skulls, etc. but I don't hang around bragging about how Goth I am, or how I'm a noncomformist.

I just find I act how I am certain Goths act.
I like a lot of things related to the subculture.
Things like that.
