I, personally, think it's wrong and ok at the same time. I think it's wrong because homophobes tend to bodly express things and most of them appeal to the fact that they don't like gay people. But then again, it is strictly ok because people are entitled to there own opinion. But mostly, I think it to be very wrong and very mean! Hmph! -wacks some random homophobic passerby on the head- ^_^ -nods-

It's not a good thing to be homophibic, because a lot of people are bi or gay. If they are homophobic, though, the least they can do is keep it to themselves. Don't call people names or tell them they can't do certain s**t because they're gay, don't pass pictures of naked guys around and tell people they found it in your stuff (all of which and more has happened to me...it sucks...) or whatever. If you're phobic, keep your mouth shut.

I think homophobia is wrong. My mom and my sis is extreamly homophobic and I have homosexual and bisexual friends and they aren't too happy of my friends. I really hate how that they hate my friends for that and how they won't get to know them. Anyway, I think it's wrong to be homophobic.

If you ask me, it's as bad as being racist. Though that makes me feel bad because almost my entire family is racist AND homophobic, and then usually people think I'm racist/homophobic because that's how my family brought me up. (I thank the lord I didn't turn out like how they might've wanted me to.)

It's a phobia so... I don't think it's a matter of being right or wrong.
I'm afraid of people who are twice my size in girth and taller than me. Seriously, I'm totally freaked out.
I don't think it's right to try and change someone from what they are. If they're homophobic I don't care. I still care about them, fears and all. Normally they're only homophobic, because they don't know how to act around gay people. It's actually a fear- or awkwardness. I think their awkwardness is kinda cute. [Because I’m a sick individual].
I don't like admitting this, but my bro's a bit of a homophobe. He's got a friend who declared himself gay, it's not like they were very close to begin with, but now his reason for us not visiting our friend is that this kid is gay. He's not afraid of the guy, he's afraid of the situation. I love my bro. I’m not going to try and change him. We don’t always get along, but he’s perfectly fine as he is. If you want to argue with me on that one... I'm writing you down in my Death Note... er I mean... Nevermind.
Just give people the freedom to live how they want without shoving something in their face. Because shoving whatever you think is right down someone's throat is like hate.
You see I don't approve of the anti-gay, gay-haters. These people who are like "God Hates fags." Obviously they hate and they're clearly acting on the verge of criminal behavior. I don't care if someone is homophobic. I do care if they're protesting funerals and celebrating the tragic death of other people. I think these people are the spawn of hell and their harassment should be considered criminal.

Overall, I guess the best way I can input is that you know homophobia isn't wrong or right but I strongly dislike it. Because it keeps you from getting to know someone who may just be as cool as you are. I mean everyone is different but that doesn't stop ( and small note I don't like categorizing people but this is an example) A prep from being best friends with a goth. So if homophobes could just get over their own insecurities it would be better for both sides. So if I had to pick I'd sort of say it's wrong because most homophobes get way out of line when dealing with the issue.

I think homophobia is an opinion. Opinions cannot be right or wrong, they are merely opinions, a thought. but it's when those are voiced, that I get to think they're in the wrong.
My friend is homophobic and does a horrible joke of making fun of a gay guy. The whole wrist and voice thing. I tell him if he has anyway gay friends who do that and he replies, "No gays here."
Any kind of anti whatever makes my skin crawl. I'm it hurts even me, even when it's not at all directed to me. it really hurts, this kind of worded hate.
aww, and now I'm depressed. emo
anyway, I hope my viewpoint was helpful. heart

Well, I don't think homophobia is a good thing. When there's a homophobic person that voices their opinions of homosexuality in a rude and hurtful way, then I get mad. This happens a lot when I'm at school cuz so many jerks at my school don't think that gay people count as humans. stare
