Ok it may be a crazy idea, but I think Locke's dad knows a lot about scamming. Could Sawyer had been one of Locke's old man's call signs? The way they tie everything together I would not be surprised... Or have I missed something huge as I often do.

not a bad therory...it could be possible since everyone seems to be connected to everyone eles and they didn't even know it like when sawyer talked to jacks dad.

Jacky Boy um isn't Locke also kinda older then James? I think they mean the Sawyer that isn't James. He named himself after someone, right?

Right Lock's father goes by many names while he scams. I have the feeling that he took the name Sawyer, and pulled the job on James's parents.
