It's very possile, but the GM probably would have to be like an omnipotent narrator, since he/she would know who the killer is, like a murder mystery game. I've been in one before; they're really fun.

RP or RPG stands for Roll Playing or Roll Playing Game. A GM, or Game Master is the person in charge of making up the plot, helping to give the characters direction, and to keep things running smoothly overall. Since they don't have a character (generally) and run the NPCs (non-player characters) they know more about what is going on in a story, and choose how much to relieve to the rest of the people participating in the game.
