Hallo, I'm Kathelyne and thanks for letting me join eventhough I'm not 21 till december smile
Well, I'm almost 21 and live in Queensland, Australia
I have a really confusing family, so I won't try and explain it, but it involves half sisters that are also cousins, my aunts children are refered to as my sisters, cousins or neices/nephews dependeing on which one, two mothers, (mum and mummy), siblings that aren't related to me, oh, and my ex-future-step-son. And we mussent forget my baby in heaven.
I love art and crafty things, and my latest hoby is reborning dolls, which is talking a silicon or vinyl doll and turning it into a realistic looking baby, and they are weighted and things to look and feel like a baby.
I also love to paint, draw, anything really. I love soft pastels smile
I am studying archaeology and anthropology at uni, and working in a health and beauty show to pay for it all.
I look forward to getting to know you all!

Hi Kaathelyne. I'm a fellow Aussie though from a bit further south - Melbourne. Tell ya what, it's a bit of a pain with the time difference. Most Gaians are in bed when I'm on! Good to see another Aussie and welcome to the guild.

Hi! I'm glad you could join. I'm rather into archaeology myself, and I've been on a few digs though I can't see myself doing it as a career, I'm too weak to sling a shovel all the time.. haha.. but it's lots of fun. Welcome to the guild!

Thanks for the welcomes!
I've been to Melbourne once for four days of shopping, and I enjoyed the shops and the markets (mmmm... fresh food markets! so good) but I wouldn't like to live there, I found it very dirty and cold, and I actually saw people just littering on the streets!
And yeah, I love archaeology, but I will probably be spending a lot of time in the lab or the museum. Its not all about digging! (though it is funny to see people take things out of the ground and their first thing they do is stick it in their mouths. hehe. One of my lecturers is like that with pottery, he has to know then and there what it is, so in the mouth it goes)

I'd argue with you about Melbourne being cold but my fingers are nearly frozen and I can't type properly! Dirty? Yeah I guess it is. Haven't travelled further north than Sydney so not much to compare it with. Where I live in suburbs is OK. Boring but OK.

Boring but OK. come to QLD, its the best, LOL Brisbane, with the exception of one end of one of the malls (where people are allowed to smoke) is pretty clean. It was also windy when I went to melbourne. I had to wear pants the whole time sad

I'd love to head north and I will one day. Look out though, my pasty white skin can blind unsuspecting locals at one hundred paces! redface
Many people I know head to Queensland for the winter. Down here it gets pretty arctic and you are right about the wind! Good for kites and that's about it!
