There is a Warrior,
Where is a sword?
Peace did he bring,
The fighting Lord.
Shed for him is my fifth tear.
Find it the title here,
Written in but a single word,
An eye is an eye, until it is heard.

Jazzfox gets the first answer!

Next riddle:
New Riddle! Jazzfox
::A wisened squirrel sits upon the Great Hall stairs, sighing happily as the sun beamed on the heedy Summer day, a gentle breeze easing the heat well along; and leaving nought but another peaceful abbey day... for a moment::

Burrrr, Oi!!!! Brutherrr Marthuee zurr!!! ::A mole babe suddenly announced the arrival of a good dozen dibbuns, who were quick to come closer around the squirrel:: Us'ns aare roightly 'sited 'bout 'is 'ere surpoise a' 'ur'ns, zurr!! Boi!!

::The squirrel gave no hint of moving as the dibbuns were all dancing about, begging to be told his surprise; but, slowly, he smiled; and chuckled as he raised a paw:: Now, now...

If you'll be well behaved, quiet dibbuns... I'll let you follow me to Great Hall for your lesson today...

::Many a moan rose from the dibbuns; this was hardly what they were looking for:: And those who come may earn themselves a good set of honeyed molebabe bread!!

::Immediately they set up a cheer and cut themselves short to follow; and sat themselves eventually in Great Hall; before Brother Matthew; and a table with a cover over it::

Today... we're going to learn why it's bad to lie... and here is why...

::He whipped off the cover to reveal three jars; a bronze painted one, a silver painted one and a gold painted one::

::Each had a label across each:: Now... one of these jars is definitely telling the truth... one is definitely a naughty dibbun fibbing... and the other... who knows?

::A molebabe raised his paw:: Zurr... they'ns currant boi loiars... eyzez just jars!!!

Oh, they can... ::He pointed to the labels::

BRONZE: "The treat isn't in the Silver Jar"
SILVER: "The treat is in the Gold Jar"
GOLD: "The treat is in this Jar"

Now... which jar has the treats inside...? And why?

OK, apparently thie system I thought up isn't working, so....

If you have a riddle, just post it in here, but DON'T POST THE ANSWER! It'll take the fun out of it for those who want to actually try to answer it.

If you want the answer to the riddle, PM the one who originally posted the riddle.

Kay?

What is always moving
yet never seen
Makes scholars cry and
of what elders dream
What when it's lost, is never found
What's falling is a hollow sound
What happens now, happend then
but may soon come to end
The answer to this riddle
is up to you my friend

((Ha! Made that on the spot wot!))

It breathes,
Fast,
Slow,
It doesn't matter.
What you cannot see can be your downfall,
You who work the tide.
It moves freely,
Cannot be contained,
It bites you.
What is it?

Ok its an easy on, but I just made it up. Give me a break...

Here's a poem I accidentally put in the Songs and Poems thread.

The Riddle of Otters
By: XisTiger
It exists at home
It's not now but then.
This is what an otter needs
to get what their soup needs to be
Never was it made in Redwall
Nor was it to be with Martin

What is it that I am?

XisTiger
