I love hot weather, and cold weather. I acclimate very easily, just kind of naturally I guess. I also have never sun burned, despite laying in the Florida sun all day in the summer with no sun screen on as a kid. sweatdrop Probably not good for me, but I didn't burn, which made me happy. Of course, over in Egypt, i would not risk it, I would think. I would get a sweet brown/ bronze tan though! ^__^
I don't easily burn myself but in Egypt when I spent alot of time in the swimming pool (instead of going on my excursion trips) my shoulders burned so much!

Even if you do not burn easily generally I strongly advise that you do wear sun tan lotion when in Egypt!! sweatdrop

Yup, i know. Something high SPF, too. But I would come back so tan! ^_^

Bah. The heat in Egypt is nothing compared to band camp. talk2hand

I've spent my life living in both Texas and Oklahoma. I'd rather have a blast furnace-esque dry heat than all the humidity down here. xp

But humidity or no, never wear wool uniforms in 100+ degree heat. That's never good. (personal experience)

Speaking of sunscreen, I wear 50 SPF. I shall not be tan! I look weird when I'm tan... gonk

Darling, this isn't on Egyptology, lol.

But the heat there is over 40C - 50C (Over 100F - 130F That was a guess!!!) but only the mornings are copable. By the way that is Egyptian summer I was mentioning whee

that's some ******** up facts. if it was 50 we'd be all walking around looking like fried chicked. the maximum it can get in the summer is 46-47.

and no, it's isn't so hot. we have air conditioners too, you know.

iZuu... first off I think that was uncalled for. You could just as easily be polite when correcting facts that may be wrong.

Also I'm pretty sure everyone was talking purely about outside heat. Would be kind of silly to talk about the temperature that people in Egypt keep their thermostats set at wink

I just went to Egypt this summer.

I live in the Bay Area, which has some of the nicest and most consistent weather in the world. I am extremely sensitive to heat and I am very pale.

However, I actually didn't think it was that bad in Egypt. I got used to the heat by the end of the first day (I was always out all day, not just in the morning). In fact, I actually came to like the heat! I was powerless to it, so I had no choice but to embrace it and try to enjoy myself.

At least I don't whine when it's 77F at home anymore. xd

I regret it
