I joined because i was always interested in the marching band...
so i wanted to so that but i wasnt good at band istruments
so i switched to guard and its freakin awsome!

I joined the guard because my friend needed members, If I didn't join there would only be two guards. That was last year, this year I joined to maybe salvage my reputation as a guard (the coach for guard last year epic failed and we got a new one.)
Basically I wrangled my sister and another friend to do it with me as well as the first friend, so 4 people would be in it...the first friend quit, halfway throught the show, without finishing her assigned routine...and not telling us. I stuck it out as a matter of pride basically Xp
I love guard a lot though, Imma miss it.

I got a small taste of guard with my junior high dance team. The teacher who organized the team was my high school's Color Guard coach at the time (not any more, tho!) So when I started high school, I decided to get involved. In the past few seasons, there's been sooooo much drama and attitude, plus injuries and a lot of hard work, but the feeling of being out on that football field or mat... it's totally worth it!!! 4laugh
